INNOFEIT together with the other partners from the VoiceKids project participated in the 18h International Conference of the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe AAATE 2025 held 10 – 12 Sep 2025 in Nicosia, Cyprus hosted by our partner European University of Cyprus (EUC). The partners hosted the Special Thematic Session on Innovative Technologies for Inclusive Education: Exploring AAC and Voice Synthesis for All Learners chaired by Silvio Pagliara, Branislav Gerazov, and Francesco Zanfardino. The STS was directly aligned with the activities of the VoiceKids project. It featured three contributions from the partners:
- The VoiceKids Knowledge Hub: An Innovative Open Educational Resource Integrating Instructional Design, Assistive Technology, and AAC for Inclusive Teacher Training
- A Review of the State of the Child Speech Synthesis Landscape
- A Review of the State of the Speech Synthesis Technology Landscape – Neural TTS on the Edge
