The Summer School “Detection of Alzheimer’s in Speech Signals” was held at the premises of INNOFEIT from June 23 to 27, organized within the framework of the AI Apps Against Alzheimer in Central Europe (4ACEs) project funded by the International Visegrad Fund. Some 30 researchers and students from FEEIT and a number of international scientific research and educational institutions attended the school.
In addition to Marija Markovska Dimitrovska, Tomislav Kartalov, Branislav Gerazov and Vanesa Lazareva from FEEIT, talks were held by researchers in the field of speech technologies and signal processing from five international institutions:
– Viktória Kevická, Milan Rusko and Marian Trnka from the Institute of Informatics, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava, Slovakia,
– Artur Janicki and Karolina Gabor-Siatkowska from the Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland,
– Geza Nemeth and Shaima Alwaisi from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest, Hungary,
– Phil Garner from the Idiap Research Institute, Martigny, Switzerland and
– Nadica Miljkovic, Djordje Neshkovic and Minja Vukovic from the University of Belgrade, Belgrade, Serbia.
