INNOFEIT and MASIT signed a memorandum of cooperation that allows MASIT members to use INNOFEIT DIH services in order to introduce novel tech solutions that ease their operation and boost their competitiveness. DIHs are innovation centers for digital innovations and one-stop shops offering technical expertise and prototyping facilities for interested companies. Ultimately, this should lead to improved business and production processes as well as products and services.
The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by the Vice Dean for Finances and Cooperation with Industry and Managing Director of INNOFEIT, Prof. Vladimir Atanasovski, and the President of the Management Board of MASIT, Mrs. Aneta Antova Pesheva.
„INNOFEIT is a grant recipient from FITD for enhancing the capacity as a DIH and a focal activity within is the creation of a partner network. Therefore, we signed a memorandum with MASIT so that their members can test before invest using modern digital technologies that will allow cost reduction for developing new products and fast track the commercialization of an innovation. One of the basic activities of a DIH is to gather the industry and the administration that need new tech solutions, from one side, and companies, especially SMEs and startups, that have market-ready solutions, on the other“, says prof. Vladimir Atanasovski.
The President of the Management Board of MASIT, Mrs. Aneta Antova Pesheva, stated that this memorandum raises the cooperation level between the private sector and the academia through transfer of knowledge, technologies and innovations.
„MASIT and FEEIT have a long-term fruitful collaboration and from now on it is expanded and officialized with the signing of this memorandum. The memorandum refers to questions of mutual interests based on using scientific, technical and space resources towards enhancing educational, research and applied science activities in the area of electrical engineering and information technologies. MASIT and INNOFEIT will develop a network for establishing an ecosystem where novel companies can test their innovations and lead them to commercialization. All this will be realized within the first fully operational Macedonian DIH INNOFEIT“, says Mrs. Aneta Antova Pesheva.
